Data source: U.S. Food and Drug Administration / openFDA. This site uses 29,406 food-enforcement records from the FDA export of September 16, 2026, with initiation dates from 2008 onward. The latest report date in this snapshot is Sep 9, 2026.
FDA export dates and record dates differ. This site does not provide a live alert feed. Original product descriptions, reasons, classifications and code information are preserved on recall pages.
What does “recent ongoing” mean?
The FDA lists the record as Ongoing, its initiation date is within 365 days of September 18, 2026, and no termination date is supplied. Older records can still list Ongoing; we keep those in the history without presenting them as new recalls. Past records are FDA Terminated or Completed.

Compare the exact product, package size, lot or batch code, UPC and dates with the FDA record. Not every record includes a specific lot number. Extracted codes are shown alongside their source context; the original FDA text remains available.
A product not appearing in search, or a code not matching our extracted list, is not a guarantee that it is safe. Always follow official FDA and manufacturer guidance.
Companies aren't always stores.
A recalling firm may be a manufacturer or distributor. Store names can also appear in descriptions or distribution text. We keep these relationships distinct, and do not assign every supplier recall to a retailer.
A few useful details
Counts represent product records, not separate outbreaks. Product topics and reason categories can overlap. Company names are combined only for capitalization and spacing differences. Some records have missing dates or conflicting statuses; those are retained and identified.
The food-enforcement snapshot contains only two explicit dog-food records. It is not a complete pet-recall database.
